Our GCTT Pt 11 - Victoria

We took the fantastic "Coastal Celebration" Ferry
from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay.
The day was cool and windy but the sun broke through the clouds
and that made everything better.

Ship detail of the ropes for the emergency lifeboats...

One of the most stunning "arrival roads" in the world
(according to ME)...
Yes those are mountains in the distance!

We stayed here at The Fairmont Empress
a truly iconic part of beautiful Victoria.
You couldn't have a better location- right on the harbour!

Charming painted whales are scattered around the city...

A lovely random poem posted on a tree...

 Me and my Mountie...

They call themselves the Risky Riders
but I have no idea what they're about!

So typically west coast--- YOGA on the street!

  1. The Risky Riders bike looks like the "big bike" that the Heart & Stroke uses to fundraise here in Ontario. I'm actually riding one in August with colleagues that I work with :)

    Beautiful pictures Kim!
