Follow Your Bliss

Rose Petals 1
The divine manifestation is ubiquitous,
Only our eyes are not open to it.
Awe is what moves us forward.

Rose Petals 2
Live from your own center.
The divine lives within you.
The separateness apparent in the world is secondary.
Beyond the world of opposites is an unseen,
but experienced, unity and identity in us all.

Roses 1
Today the planet is the only proper "in group."
Participate joyfully in the sorrows of the world.
We cannot cure the world of sorrows,
but we can choose to live in joy.

Roses 3
You must return with the bliss and integrate it.
The return is seeing the radiance is everywhere.
The world is a match for us.
We are a match for the world.
The spirit is the bouquet of nature.

Love is a Rose
Sanctify the place you are in.

Everything's Rosey
Follow your bliss. . . .

Good Advice

"Cherish your solitude.

Take trains by yourself to places you have never been.

Sleep out alone under the stars.

Learn how to drive a stick shift.

Go so far away that you stop being afraid of not coming back.

Say no when you don’t want to do something.

Say yes if your instincts are strong, even if everyone around you disagrees.

Decide whether you want to be liked or admired.

Decide if fitting in is more important than finding out what you’re doing here.

Believe in kissing."

Be Who You Are

Some of the dearest friends I've ever had...
Izabella, Wendy, Debbie, Sam, and Shula

‎"Often people attempt to live their lives backwards; they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want, so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do, in order to have what you want. "

~ Margaret Young

I found this quotation this morning on my Facebook wall (posted by Beyond the Veil where the Angels Ascend) and think it's amazing. Read it then read it again. There's a lot of power in living with these words in mind. I wanted to know just who this Margaret Young was so I googled the name. As you can imagine there are so many Margaret Youngs!!

I'm going to assume that this particular Margaret was the delightful vaudevillian singer and comedienne born in 1891 in Detroit, Michigan.

Some of her recordings are on YouTube - take some time today to listen and enjoy! They'll take you back to the era of fabulous flappers and real divas! Now if this quotation is NOT from this Miss Young, you will have still spent a few moments with beauty.

And by the way.... I am not in any way implying that my dearest friends in the photo above live their lives backwards. I just happened to catch them all from behind! These women.... every one of them, live life to the fullest by following Margaret's words every day. I admire them all for their courage and joy.
